Geocomposite

Geonet with Geotextile

By combining the horizontal permeability characteristics of the Geonet ribs
with the filtering, separation, and drainage functions of the Geotextile,
the product is designed for application in environmental and civil engineering fields.

A nonwoven fabric treated with carbon black is thermally bonded to one or both sides of the Geonet, providing excellent adhesion to the ground or other materials, while maintaining the inherent elasticity and resilience of the ribs.
Applications of Geocomposite
Landfill facilities, retaining walls, slope stabilization

Geocomposite Features

  • 01
    Multiple Structural Functions

It provides various structural functions such as filtering, separation,
reinforcement, and horizontal drainage enabled by the rib structure of the geonet.

  • 02
    Semi-Permanent Durability

The nonwoven fabric treated with carbon black and the geonet together provide
    excellent weather and heat resistance,

    ensuring that its inherent functions
are maintained even under harsh conditions
    such as long-term temperature
    fluctuations and UV exposure.

  • 03
    Flexibility and Resilience

It provides excellent adhesion to the ground depending on soil conditions and

maintains the rib-specific elasticity and resilience of the geonet even under
    external impact or load.

Geocomposite Structure

Double-Sided
(Nonwoven fabric thermally bonded
on both sides of the geonet)

Woven-Bonded Type
(Woven fabric attached to
the nonwoven fabric on one side)

Geocomposite Applications

Landfill Facilities

Installed on the slopes and bottom of landfills to provide leachate drainage, liner protection, and filtration of sludge.

Retaining Walls

Installed behind retaining walls to perform drainage and filtration functions.
